Powerful Enhancements
SolidWorks is excited to announce the up-coming release of SolidWorks Vista Version. This intuitive, high-performing 3D CAD software will enable our customers to optimize efficiency and visual interaction; allowing them to design better products.
SolidWorks Vista Version will provide customers the opportunity to leverage powerful new Windows operating system enhancements, including a richer overall user experience, and new capabilities for search, preview, navigation, security and content syndication.
Customers also experience Windows Vista through the Microsoft Office 2007 applications that are integrated with SolidWorks 3D CAD software.

Benefits
Windows Aero Interface
When SolidWorks Vista Version becomes available, users will immediately begin enjoying the improved user experience, including the premium Windows Aero user interface effects available in the Vista Home Premium and Windows Vista Business Editions. The new interface provides translucent windows, dynamic reflections, and smooth animations that help users focus on their content rather than the tools and interface, reducing software “overhead.”

Windows Vista Instant Search Feature
SolidWorks 3D CAD software will be fully integrated with Windows Vista’s powerful new Instant Search feature. In fact, SolidWorks has expanded on Instant Search’s capabilities by building into SolidWorks a deep knowledge of how 3D CAD users work. As a result, Instant Search is sure to return the results that SolidWorks users seek, whether from the hard drive, SolidWorks Toolbox, or repositories associated with PDMWorks® product data management software and the 3D ContentCentral SM service. This enables design teams to accomplish more work in less time.

RSS Feed Capabilities
SolidWorks will also take advantage of the RSS feed capabilities in Windows Vista, giving SolidWorks Corporation a new, efficient way to deliver tips, notices, and event information to customers.
